S'està carregant… Dear Polar Bearde Barry Ablett
![]() Cap No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. ![]() ![]() In this book a polar bear is living in a plain igloo where everything is frozen. He does not like how cold it is, or how plain it is so he sits down and writes a series of letters to several of his friends. He asks each friend to send him things like : warm food, light, something to keep him warm, etc. In the end, his igloo looks more like a home, he has warm food and light, but he is lonely. His friends surprise him at the end by showing up at his doorstep. This book has wonderful pop-ups, and colorful illustrations. I read this book for my service component and the kids loved it. They asked me to bring it next time. It has a wonderful message of how friends help each other out. In the classroom, I would use this book to discuss how to write, address and mail letters. After reading the story and oral discussion, I would have students write a letter to a soldier, The President, or someone with one address. After they were done writing their letter we would put them in an envelope. I would have an envelope of my own, using a Docucam, or Projector, I would begin addressing my envelope. I would ask the students to do the same thing on their envelope. When finished, we would mail them. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
