The degree of detail contained in this book is honestly unrivaled in the children's nonfiction category. I am truly impressed with this book. It's longer than many of the picture books I've read, but no less approachable. I really was impressed with the text as a whole. I learned about caribou as one might expect, but also many of the other animals living in the Alaskan Wildlife Refuge. This really describes element of that entire ecosystem. It explains who the caribou's predators are, but also their reason for hunting and the benefits such hunting serves. The endnotes were astounding as well. What a great book! ( ) The story of migrating caribou and their encounters along the way tech children about these amazing anmials, and how they travel in herds to have thier young. This is a really interesting book, because it teaches in depth about one animal while it beings up facts about other animals thoughout the book. Sense ressenyes | afegeix-hi una ressenya
