This is book 2 of "The Dalton Brothers" series. These stories can easily be read as stand alone stories.

Rachel is finally going back home to South Dakota for her Mom's funeral, after being gone for 10 years. She is now living in California and making a name for herself in the acting career. While in South Dakota (with her young daughter Becky) she must decide what to do with the family farm.

Matt Dalton is the ex-soldier she grew up having a secret crush on when he would come each summer to help out on his family farm. Now he lives permanently in South Dakota and Rachel still hasn't lost those feelings she once had for him. Matt now sees Rachel as all grown up, but what could a famous actor want to do with a damaged soldier living on a farm, when all Rachel wants to do is escape the farm life. But a lot of faith and love can be just what Rachel needs to convince her stay there and be happy with her "hometown hero". It was a sweet story. ( )
