S'està carregant… Penguin's Skating Party (Developing Reader Level 2)de Dana Regan
![]() Cap No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. ![]() This is a good modern fantasy book because it uses characters and events that are not possible in real life. For example, the penguins in this book all talk, have feelings, skate, and celebrate birthdays. Even though it is not realistic, it does hold certain truths such as the setting being in a cold place where penguins would normally live (snow and ice everywhere). This story has a very clear plot. At first we are briefly introduced to the penguin friends and the main character, but then the conflict arises. The penguins are all going to a skating party but the main penguin has never skated before. Soon, that conflict is resolved as the penguins teach him how to skate. However, another conflict ensues as the main penguin gets nervous again once he gets to the party. But sure enough, it gets resolved again when the penguins help him out on the ice and compliment his skating. Media: The illustrations appear to be pen and ink.
