No hi ha cap discussió a Converses sobre aquesta obra. not in ILL A young girl, Rose, goes on a journey through the cosmos on the back of a magical lion. The pair encounters constellational creatures that are brought to life through Swarner’s soft, colorful, swirling illustrations. The rhythm and rhyme that detail the journey are as playful as the journey itself, making you feel as though you have joined Rose and her lion. Greenberg uses sophisticated language to paint a vivid picture of the adventure. The young girl is the leader of the expedition while the lion appears as a loyal companion in her adventures, leading her to all of the corners of the universe she wishes to experience. When the pair and a new friend, Monoceros the unicorn, encounter trouble, Rose is daring and takes the lead. This book is sure to peak the interests of any child interested in the alluring portrait of the interstellar voyage it provides. It is sure to inspire similar fantasies in children, especially those that explore with Rose and her lion just before going to bed and creating dreams of their own. A sweetly poetic, gorgeously illustrated, imaginative and fantastical romp through the nighttime constellations astride an enchanted lion, [b:Enchanted Lions|6529035|Enchanted Lions|David Greenberg|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1266745368s/6529035.jpg|6721036] is a wonderful bedtime story for any young child, but is especially suitable for children who are interested in outer space, the constellations, the vastness and mystery of the universe. Rose and her lion companion glide through the universe, past Pegasus, past Pisces, even engaging in a race across the vastness of space with Monoceros, the unicorn (and Rose even becomes somewhat of a heroine, rescuing herself and the enchanted lion when they come too close to a black hole by hooking a comet tail lasso over Cetus the whale). The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous, luminous and bright, a perfect complement to the poetic text, creating a rich and fantastical tapestry sure to enchant and delight. [b:Enchanted Lions|6529035|Enchanted Lions|David Greenberg|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1266745368s/6529035.jpg|6721036] is not a book for those looking for factual information about outer space and the universe (it is a completely fantastical, imaginative voyage into the unknown of the universe, a poetical delight that is part fairy-tale, part science fiction). Very highly recommended for any imaginative child (and anyone who has ever dreamed of encountering the constellations, anyone who has ever imagined and wished for the constellations to be real, to actually be able to meet and touch Cetus the whale, Pegasus the horse, Pisces the fishes).
