The rhymes are an added bonus as they help early readers connect letters to the sounds and objects. This is a fun way to learn and practice finding shapes.

I really love the illustrations in this book. It is a great way to start out the school year as the themes in the book would align with the current season. The book wonderfully combines the theme of fall, shapes, and rhymes in a fun book about a family who takes a trip to a pumpkin patch. There are many directions that the follow up conversations could lead, based on the interests of the students.
