This is a book of short poems and a few hymns, each one introduced by a few paragraphs about the author's life. She starts in her childhood with a few memories, and progresses through to her seventies, when the book was published. I found it more interesting than a standard autobiography, as the author picks and chooses a few pertinent anecdotes and some information relevant to her faith, rather than recounting in detail all the places she went to and famous people she worked with.

Wendy Craig is best known for her TV sitcom appearances, mostly in the 1960s and 70s; I only recalled her vaguely when I picked this book up on a church bookstall, but I liked it very much even though poems are not my thing at all.

Recommended in a low-key way.
