It's fine, and mostly does what it says it shall do. I would have liked even more of a survey of chess sets and fewer shots of other angles of the same chess sets. There's a preponderance of Russian and Indian sets (it seemed to me, I'm not an expert, and maybe that's true of sets-in-the-world and not just in the book). Was hoping for a broader reach, I guess, but they met their brief.

(Note: 5 stars = amazing, wonderful, 4 = very good book, 3 = decent read, 2 = disappointing, 1 = awful, just awful. I'm fairly good at picking for myself so end up with a lot of 4s).… (més)
