If you follow Foxx's Passport to Dreams blog on analyzing Disney (specifically WDW), you will not be disappointed in this examination of Haunted Mansion. (Dare I say it? Yes, yes, I will) Foxx has captured the true SPIRIT of the theming behind the attraction. Delving not just into mechanics of the special effects but also into the history and lore of the time period, the interior decorating, the philosophy of Spiritualism, no (tomb) stone is left unturned. My only complaints cover the rampant typos and the author's inability to use the word "that" instead of "which." I also dislike that most figures aren't captioned. Some of the figures may be obvious but most are not.
