Thomas B. James, Thomas James and Tom James are all names for the same person: Thomas James, attorney at the Law Office of Tom James in Cokato, Minnesota. Attorney Tom James is also the founder and lead instructor at Echion CLE, a provider of continuing education courses for attorneys, as well as courses on legal topics for non-attorneys. He has developed and/or taught courses as varied as IP Law for Non-IP Attorneys, Trauma-Informed Practices for Attorneys, and Protecting Trademarks and Names. He also writes on law and law-related topics, with a focus on trademark, copyright, business and e-commerce law. Minnesota lawyer Thomas James is also TEFL/TESOL/TBE certified. Years ago, he published a book on domestic violence and one on the history of custody law. Inexplicably, he i s also the author of "Tuber Tips," a tongue-in-cheek collection of ostensibly helpful "tips" relating to sweet potatoes and their uses. Attorney Tom James has written a number of law review articles on varied topics, such as "Assisted Reproduction: Reforming State Statutes After Obergefell v. Hodges and Pavan v.
