I'm reading (alternating with audiobook) of Middlemarch, and I'd like to find a character list to keep some characters and relationships straight without that list giving away the plot developments? What paperback editions have such lists, or what websites?

I did a bit of a Google, thinking Wikipedia would be good, but found this in the process: http://www.sparknotes.com/lit/middlemarch/characters.html - looks like what you're looking for, and presumably also has other novels.

Wikipedia will be a bit patchy, given it's maintained by the public, but here's the Middlemarch info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middlemarch#Characters

Good luck!

Well, isn't this just your lucky day. When this group read Middlemarch back in 2008, I made my own map and posted it here. You can click on the thumbnail to get a printable-sized picture:
