Number of Books?

So there are already three books published:
Twilight,
New Moon, and
Eclipse
It has already been said that there will be a companion book to Twilight with Edward as a first perspective, Midnight Sun.
There is also to be a forth book in the series titled Breaking Dawn. My question is on this. Wikipedia has the statement:
"It will be the last book with Bella's point of view and will also have another point of view, presumably Jacob Black's."
Now I had heard before while talking with someone about the companion novel with Jacob's perspective, but I had not heard that Breaking Dawn was supposed to be the completion of the series.
Have any of you heard anything similar about Breaking Dawn or Jacob's book? If so where did you get your information?

December 2006 Update: Little, Brown Books for Young Readers has officially contracted with me to continue the Twilight Series. Breaking Dawn is tentatively set to be released in the fall of 2008, but making that deadline depends entirely on how fast I can write! Breaking Dawn is still in the outline stage, and if you don't see me around much in the next year or so, that's why.

Ok. I just checked wiki and they no longer say that there will be a companion Jacob novel to Breaking Dawn. So I guess whoever did the first article didn't have good info. Here's an update from Stephenie Meyer's myspace page.
1) Breaking Dawn is in the editing phase. It it tentatively set for release Fall 2008. It could be later if we hit a snag in editing. Usually editing takes longer than a few months, but both I and my editors will be putting in lots of overtime to make this happen.
2) Midnight Sun is only half-written. It will not be coming out until a while after it’s finished. Don’t expect it anytime soon. I will let you know when the rough draft is finished, and then you can start asking when it is due out. I don’t foresee much chance to work on it until Breaking Dawn is completely finished.
4) In regards to the question, "Is Breaking Dawn the last book in the Twilight Saga?" The answer is, "I don’t know." It’s the last one for a while, at least. Of course there will be Midnight Sun, but that’s covering old material. I’m not sure if I will go forward with the Twilight characters–I’m a little burned out right now. Ask me again in two years.
5) "When are you going to put the first chapter of Breaking Dawn on your website?" I have no idea when or if I will get permission to post that. It may be in the special edition of Eclipse that will come out in June or July. It may never appear until BD is on the shelves.
Oh, I thought of another one!
6) "What does the cover of BD look like?" I don’t know (are you sensing a theme here?). We have not decided on a cover yet–in fact, we are in a very early stage of the process. If we get a cover developed in time, it will probably be released with the Eclipse special edition the way the Eclipse cover was put out with the New Moon special edition. I’ve had a few people ask if images they’ve seen are the BD cover, and I can tell you absolutely that they are NOT.

Hello. I assume most have heard that Breaking Dawn will be released August 2nd, 2008.
The special edition New Moon with come out May 31st and with it will be a sample of Breaking Dawn.

Hi, it's been awhile since anyone bothered to post anything here so I'll get the ball rolling again. I just recently finished reading Eclipse and was wondering about the silver bracelet Edward gave Bella. I thought silver was like a poison to Vampires. I know the bracelet belonged to Edward's mother. So I guess that silver in small amounts is not harmful to Vampires, right? I was just curious about that.
I was also kind of wondering if Edward had already made Bella into a Vampire because she is described as running around the forest in wolf form at a very fast pace of speed.
