Why do you think Ted Betgin pulled off the road that night?

We didn't read that there was any issue with his car so I assume that someone flagged him down. I liked the theory of a police impersonator based on the rolled down window but there's been a lot of argument as to why that wasn't possible so I don't know who it would have been

It could have been the FBI. I can't believe he would have pulled over if it hadn't looked legitimate. He must have known he was involved in something very serious.

I wonder whether there was a rendezvous arranged with someone?
Will we ever find out?

I believe he was stopped by a law enforcement vehicle of some type. I don't think he would have stopped for an unmarked car so it must have been a recognizable police car.

I'm don't know if it was a pre-arranged meeting or if he was pulled over, but I think he knew his murderer--hence the rolled down window.

>7 bluebird_: I agree with you on that. You don't roll your window down if you don't know the person or if the person doesn't look like they have some authority to be stopping you.

If it was a prearranged meeting I think he would have stepped out of the car - except if it was purely for handing over something.
