Kelly felt guilty for abandoning her brother as a result of the problems in their past. Do you think she has any reason to blame herself, or anything to be guilty about?

Kelly did a great thing, saving her little (or not so little) brother from his abusing father, she has absolutely nothing to blame herself for. As a grown-up, she had the right to go and live her own life, it didn't mean she loved her brother any less. People, families, can't live in each other's pockets. Eddie will be the first to tell Kelly that, I'm sure.

I agree but "Survivor Guilt" is a killer and pops up when least expected. I think it's something that those that have experienced the abuse of a loved one ever gets past.

no - I think she took care of him as well as she could. she was there while he was younger and protected him from his father. It was only after his father was dead that she actually left the house
