Just have to finish my current non-list reading (The Love Department -- totally lovely) and then I'm on to this!

This was a quick and very enjoyable read. I literally laughed out loud quite often. This man and his hare have many zany adventures and the whole thing feels thoroughly Scandinavian. Something about mankind, nature, and alcohol? Anyway, a nice change from some of the usual gloomy 1001 books.

Finished reading, counted for this group read and as my Finland read for Eurovisionathon.
It was bizarrely entertaining and quirky, with naked helicopter pilots and a night of drinking moonshine in a river as a forest fire burns around you (all of which are taken as totally matter of fact events by our main character). And of course the hare, a lovely character in his own right.
