- He received his formal education at Florida College (A. A.) and Webster University (B. A.). He has preaching the gospel for 57 years now. He has conducted a preacher training program for over 30 years. He is an elder and author of a Commentary on the Gospel of Mark, Family Life—a Biblical Perspective, and The Church—a Biblical Perspective. He served as editor of the religious journal, Biblical Insights, from 2001-2006.

A strong introductory commentary. The author has done much research and has provided assistance in understanding the Greek words behind the text along with some of Mark's authorial tendencies. Some comments are made on the basis of other commentaries. This commentary stays extremely close to the text and contents itself with the contextual understanding of the material.
