A strong introductory commentary. The author has done much research and has provided assistance in understanding the Greek words behind the text along with some of Mark's authorial tendencies. Some comments are made on the basis of other commentaries. This commentary stays extremely close to the text and contents itself with the contextual understanding of the material.
