This book is about Max, he is a wild guy, and is sent to his room without dinner. So, he goes to where the wild things are and he becomes their king, before he gets tired and misses home, and leaves to go back. I think this is a good read to self-book for some younger grades like 1st, or 2nd.

This book is all about a boy who goes on wild adventures with creatures in his imagination. It's great for elementary school kids, and I have fond memories of it being read to me when I was younger. I would love to have it in my classroom to spark creativity and imagination in my students. It's best for kindergarten to 3rd grade.
